“I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Rivas. I'm the person that doesn't go to the dentist until I have a toothache. I have been through extensive dental work by some not so great dentists. This makes me TERRIFIED to go to any dentist! So, I wait as long as I can before going. When I started having a slight toothache the dentist I work for, who is a pediatric dentist, told me to see Dr. Rivas. She treats children only so she wouldn't touch me. I'm so glad I did. Dr. Rivas and his staff, Darling and Dalia are the most down to earth and caring people. They bring you in and make you feel like part of their family. Long story short I ended up having a horrible infection in my jawbone.
Needless to say this was extremely painful and quiet scary. This only added to my fear of dentists at first. However, Dr. Rivas put me at such ease. I have never seen any medical professional go the extra mile like he and his staff did with me. He saw me every day for over two weeks to disinfect my tooth. One day I went in crying and he stopped everything to take care of me. That was a long month of treatment but today I am great and owe it all to Dr. Rivas. Not only is he a great dentist his assistant and front office explained everything to me in terms I could understand. Even when it came down to prices and insurance information they gave me all the necessary information I needed. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Rivas to anyone, and I do. In fact my 20 year old now sees him and thinks the world of him. I will be seeing him for a while as I have a lot of previous dental work that needs some fixing. “My mom recommended I see Dr. Rivas for a nagging toothache. I'm a college student and work full time as well. Dr. Rivas and his staff worked around my schedule to see me. From the second I walked in and his assistant Dalia said "you don't look anything like your picture", I knew this was the place for me. My mom had shown them pictures of me and my brother and Dalia remembered. That was important to me. Dr. Rivas took some x-rays and not only explained what I needed to have done, but showed me my x-rays on a big TV right in front of me. They have the latest up to date technology that is very impressive. When I left I knew I was in good hands. I left knowing exactly what needed to be done. They answered all of my questions in terms I could understand. They work with my insurance company to get me the best price as well. This is important to a struggling college student.
